MarinGenSoc-L
lists2Topic: A mailing list for those who are researching Marin County [California] and interested in corresponding with genealogists that live there. Listmembers include in the neighborhood of 100 members of the Marin County Genealogical Society and its Computer Interest Group. Society members on the list will have knowledge they can share regarding genealogy in, and families & history of, Marin County; however, queries that require record look-ups and copy requests would likely be referred to the Society's research committee members. Activities of the Society and meeting announcements are posted to the list. This is also a place for discussions of genealogy in general. Other appropriate topics are genealogically related humor postings (we all need a break from the ancestor search) and software discussions. Additional information can be found on the Society's web site.
There is a Web page for the MarinGenSoc mailing list at http://www.maringensoc.org/.
